Maahfaam features a unique design, with only two such handmade shawls in our stock for this collection.

This particular style is known as haashi-daar, with thick embroidery on all four borders of the garment. Skillfully handcrafted with love and warmth in Kashmir — a land renowned for its centuries-old fine arts — each one hundred percent pure cashmere shawl is embroidered entirely by hand.

Depending on the kind of weave and embroidery, it may take an artisan anywhere from a few weeks to several years in order to fashion the finished piece.
